I’ve already mentioned in this blog that my visit last August to northern Montenegro’s Durmitor region made a deep impression on me. Not only is there wonderful scenery in the Durmitor Mountains and Tara Canyon, but that scenery is surprisingly accessible on straightforward one-day hikes.
